DIY Builder Gel

Trust the process! I’ve been doing builder gel nail polish for the past two months and I freakin’ love it. Builder gel is more flexible than acrylic nails and you can either apply it to your natural nails or use nail tips to create extensions.
Growing my nails have always been a challenge, but the extra strength with builder gel has been so helpful. A set usually lasts me a little over two weeks. Disclaimer: I’m a DIY girly, not a nail tech 😆
Application:
1. File the top layer/gloss from old gel
2. Soak nails in acetone for 7 minutes in a warm bowl of water
3. Remove/file any leftover gel and nails
4. Buff nails
5. Apply cuticle remover and push back cuticle
6. Clean with alcohol
7. Apply dehydrator and primer on nails
8. Paint base coat and do a full cure
9. Paint builder gel and flash cure. Repeat
10. Paint top coat and full cure. Repeat
11. Wipe nails with alcohol
12. Apply cuticle oil
